We had such a wonderful daytrip to the Atlas Mountains. Our guide omar and driver mustapha were fantastic - very funny and informative, and really went above and beyond to make the trip the highlight of our holiday. We were collected from our riad promptly, and driven to the mountains, stopping in Asni for a 1.5 hour camel trek around the beautiful countryside and were shown all the different herbs and plants by omar. We then passed by a berber market (this one was only on Saturdays) and headed up the mountains to Imlil valley.We had a traditional Morrocan lunch . We then did a two hour walking trek up around the mountain trails and through the Berber villages.Omar was great at finding amazing photo opportunities for us (including a rickety rope bridge over a stream, a rock in the middle of a waterfall, and with the mountain villages as a backdrop). A huge thank you again to Mustafa and Omar - the trip really was even more than we had hoped, and you made it a wonderful experience to cherish.

We took a day trip from Marrakech for camel riding and a hike on the mountain. Omar was a fantastic guide.friendly.helpful and very formative.We can not recommend him highly enough and would like him to accompany us for any future trips. The lunch was our best meal in morocco.

This trip offers a refreshing break from the hustle and bustle of Marrakech and will highly recommend it to anyone

October 2015We were picked up by taxi from our hotel......a whole minibus to ourselves!! We then travelled to the berber village where we were met by our lovely guide Omah. We Started off with mint tea and cakes and met another very lovely couple that joined us and then headed off on our tour. We were accompanied by two other locals who provided us with mules they had provided in case we got weary, whilst we didn't really need them I really enjoyed my ride! Omah was an excellent guide who explained the villages ways of life and all about the surrounding area. We stopped for a delicious lunch on a terrace with fabulous views and also got to meet omahs family who were hard at work as it was the walnut picking season! We had tea with his wife who also very generously gave us some freshly picked walnuts and a necklace. We ended the day with a ride on the camels and again were brought back to our hotel by the same taxi driver. Nothing was too much trouble for any of the people we met and I would very much recommend a trip
