Departure Marrakesh:Day 1 : Marrakech – Tizi n’Tichka - Telouet -Ait Benhadou – Ouarzazate – valley of roses – Tinghir - Todra gorges. 390km (32km off road). After breakfast, leaving Imlil & head towards the southern Morocco, cross Tizi n’Tichka (2260m) the highest mountain pass in Morocco, along the way small Berber villages can be seen from the road, stunning views over Tichka Mountains, take an off road to visite Telouet & Kasbah the leader Glaoui one of theleaders governed Marrakech & the surrounding during French occupation continue via Ait Benhadou Ksars & Kasbahs, end the circulare drive and join the main road to Ouarzazate, stop for lunch and follow the way of 1000 Kasbahs including roses valley, Boumalen Dades, Kelaa Mgouna to reach Todra gorges. Distance: 360km Day 2: Todra gorges Tinghir - Tinjdad– Erfoud – Rissani – Merzouga. 270km (40km off road). After breakfast, go to inside the gorges & enjoy the beautiful rocks of Todra which is the best place for rock climbers in Morocco, back by the same way and then join the car road towards Merzouga via Jorf, Erfoud (the carpets & fossils place) & the magnificent palm groves of Ziz valley & Rissani. After your arrival to Merzouga, meet the camel leaders & start the camel trek heading towards Erg Chebi, the highest dunes in Morocco (150m) magical landscape & immense dunes, find Erg Chebbi after 1.30 riding from the center, possibility to see the sunset if the weather is good. Distance: 270km Day 3 : Merzouga – Errachdia - middle Atlas Mountains – Fez.450km Get up early to see the sunrise, back to the camp for breakfast before you trek back with camels to Merzouga, get in the 4x4 and way to Fez via the other part of Ziz valley with miles of palm trees, cross the middle Atlas Mountains including Errachidia, Midelte, the cedar forest & Azrou, small cities in European style as there’s a lots of snow in winter. Arrival to Fez, park the vehicle and walk to the Riad in the old medina. Distance: 450km Day 4 : Fez. Guided visit. After breakfast, start the guided visit of Fez, the spiritual and cultural capital of the Kingdom of Morocco the visit includes the old medina & its historical monuments, souks and sights, it’s also the holiest city in the Islamic world after Mecca and Medina, founded at the beginning of the 9th century by Moulay Idriss II, this enchanting city has since been a seat of government. Day 5 : Fez – Meknes – Rabat – Casablanca. Check out and way to Meknes, along the road we will visit the ancient roman ruin city of Volubilis & the sacred town of Moulay Idriss Zerhoun, grandson of the prophet Mohammed and first Arab leader of Morocco, continue to Meknes, lunch and quick visit of the impressive gate, know as "Bab Mansour", the Hedim Square, the tomb of Moulay Ismail, and the stables and granary. Afterwards continue to Rabat, administrative capital of Morocco, visit of this imperial city and see what it offers such as the Hassan Tower and Mohammed V Mausoleum, Chellah Gardens and Necropolis, and the Oudayas Kasbah overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. After the visit way to Casablanca. Distance: 291km Day 6 : Casablanca– Marrakech. 330km After breakfast, visit this economic capital, enjoy some amazing sites like Hassan 2 mosque, old medina, habous quarter, Mohamed V square etc… After lunch way to Marrakech.
